Here is a tool that should be prepared to make soap:
- Digital scales (must be digital)
- Alcohol thermometers
- Stainless pans
- Cake mixer
- Timers
- Spoons,
- Plastic container for weighing ingredients
- Soap mold
- Plastic gloves (and mask).
Ingredients (for 1kg soap):
- Palm oil (cooking oil / palm oil) 379 grams
- Coconut oil (coconut oil) 310 grams
- Water 266 grams
- Caustic Soda 108 grams
- Perfume 15 ml starter
- Pieces of colorful soap (small squares 1 cm x 1 cm)
How to Make:
1. Weigh all the ingredients properly. Use gloves when weighing caustic soda.
2. Heat the mixture of palm oil and coconut oil to a temperature of 60 C.
3. Put caustic soda into the water. If no vapor should not be inhaled.
4. Put a mixture of caustic soda and water into the oil at a temperature of 55 C.
5. Stir with mixer until thickened (about 15-20 minutes).
6. Put perfume (this time I used a scented Lavender). Stir for 1 minute longer.
7. In this recipe, I also mix colorful soap that has been cut into small pieces.
8. Pour in mold. Let stand for 1-2 days.
9. Remove the soap, cut according to taste. Put into a sealed cardboard cake that has dibolongi slightly for ventilation.
10. Let stand soap for at least 30 days before use. Or may be packed using plastic wrap and paper so that it does not smell too quickly evaporate.
